Connection notes
Check the connection before the commute.
Device size, connector type and supported power standards matter more than a familiar-looking plug or mount.
Compare power requirements
Check the vehicle socket, charger output, cable rating and your device's supported charging standard. A connector fitting physically does not guarantee every charging feature or advertised speed.
Mount without obstruction
Place devices where they do not block visibility, airbags or controls. Route cables away from pedals and moving parts, and set up navigation before driving in accordance with local law.
Protect the equipment
Follow temperature and moisture limits, inspect cables for damage and avoid leaving sensitive electronics exposed to extreme cabin heat. Disconnect or remove accessories as directed by their instructions.
