Template — to be reviewed by the store owner and legal counsel before going live.
This page summarises key rights that consumers in the European Union generally have when buying online. It does not replace the law and does not limit any mandatory rights you have in your country of residence.
Right of withdrawal
You can generally withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Details are on our Returns & Refunds page.
Legal guarantee of conformity
Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of the quality you can reasonably expect. If they are not, you are entitled to have them brought into conformity (repair or replacement), or to a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract, under the conditions provided by law — generally for at least two years from delivery.
Pre-contractual information
Before you order, we show the main characteristics of each product, the total price including VAT, delivery costs, delivery method and information about returns.
Complaints
Please contact us first at [email protected] or via our contact form. We aim to respond promptly.
Dispute resolution
If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may contact your national consumer authority or an alternative dispute resolution body competent in [LEGAL JURISDICTION]. Information about consumer rights across the EU is available from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).
